Description
**(Senior Developer - ServiceNow - 6 months - hybrid London - up to 639pday)**Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Developer (ServiceNow) to work on a hybrid basis for approx. 1 day per month based in London.
As a Developer you will help design, develop and configure the ServiceNow platform as we transform services by automating manual processes through the development of digital workflows and adoption of new Products. This will involve experience of configuration of workflow processes and will require proficiency in JavaScript.
The requires focus on defined work packages that will optimise the existing platform as identified by the Value Streams. You'll proactively identify platform enhancements to maximise value, working with colleagues and beyond to meet their strategic and business objectives.
You will be able to communicate clearly across different disciplines, Digital colleagues, and to stakeholders.As a public sector organisation, our client follows the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Capability Framework.

Essential experience required:
System Administration Experience
Significant knowledge and experience of deg, developing and configuring ServiceNow with hands-on experience of day-to-day technical platform administration, support and maintenance.
Technical Background
With a solid technical background and understanding of the following: cloud and virtual platform solutions, networking technologies, Desktop OSs (Windows 10, MacOS), Server OSs (Windows Server, Linux), Mobile OS (Windows, Android, iOS), PowerShell Scripting, administration of Active Directory Services, Public Key Cryptography, administration of certification authority services, DNS (internal, external) and JavaScript.

ServiceNow and Service Management Experience
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) with experience of configuration of workflow processes, a solid understanding of effective Service Management and ITIL processes and their application to IT operations and experience of all housekeeping eg, backup activities occurring on a SaaS platform.
