Full Stack Java Developer with Pega

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with Pega expertise to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications.

You will work on building robust BPM solutions using Pega PRPC (8.x) alongside Java-based Back End integrations and modern Front End technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise platforms within a secure and high-impact environment.

Experience Required

  • 8 to 10+ years total software development experience
  • Minimum 2-3+ years hands-on Pega development experience
  • Strong enterprise-level integration exposure

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement BPM solutions, workflows, and rule components using Pega 8.x
  • Develop custom Java components for complex business logic and Middleware integration
  • Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs, MQ/JMS integrations
  • Work with relational databases (SQL, Oracle) and Mainframe integrations (DB2, CICS)
  • Develop responsive UI components using ReactJS or Angular
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimise performance
  • Collaborate in Agile teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions

Technical Skills

Pega Platform

  • Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC (8.x preferred)
  • Case management, workflows, UI design, and data modelling

Java/Backend

  • Strong Java Core & J2EE expertise
  • OOP principles
  • Middleware integrations (Hazelcast IMDG, caching)

Front End

  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • ReactJS or Angular
  • HTML5, CSS3

Integration & Database

  • RESTful APIs & SOAP services
  • SQL/PL/SQL
  • Oracle or similar RDBMS

DevOps & Tooling

  • Git
  • CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
  • Agile/Scrum
  • Eclipse/IntelliJ

Nice to Have

  • Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Kafka or event-driven architecture experience
