Job Title: Full-Stack Developer Location: Bournemouth (x 5 days in office) Salary/Rate: £410 a day (Inside IR35) Start Date: April 2026 Job Type: Contract - 6 months

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java/Python Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications at our client who is a leading global investment bank. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions using Java, Python, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern Front End technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, high-performance applications while ensuring code quality, scalability, and security across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, Python and MySQL.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Some hands on knowledge on React JS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3

• Some exposure to Front End testing tools like Jest

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

• Implement security and data protection measures.

• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

• Oversee the development of documentation throughout the software development life cycle.

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
