Technician 3

**Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3!****Job Overview:**We are seeking skilled technicians to support a Windows 11 deployment project. You will assist in migrating laptops from a traditional Windows 10 image to a Windows 11 modern deployment using pre-developed scripts. This is an on-site role with a structured schedule and a fast-paced environment.

• Location: York, North Yorkshire, YO90 1WR
• Daily Rate: £25.15 per hour via UMB or £19.38 per hour via PAYE
• Contract Length: 16-Feb-2026 to 27-Mar-2026
• Start Date: 16-Feb-2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the migration of laptops from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using provided scripts.
• Execute migration tasks efficiently, aiming for up to 10 migrations per hour.
• Ensure all sessions are completed accurately and within scheduled time slots.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during deployment.
• Maintain clear documentation of completed migrations.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet daily targets.
• Adhere to company policies and security standards.

Key Requirements:

• Must hold a valid British Passport.
• Previous experience with Windows OS deployment or migration projects.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Availability for on-site work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.
