Manual Tester - SC Cleared - Salisbury

MANUAL TESTER, Azure Devops, with SC Security Clearance is required by our defence client based near to Salisbury, Wiltshire, South West. 350 to 400 (umbrella)

Commutable from Devizes, Basingstoke, Andover, Bath, Amesbury, Swindon, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Marlborough.

Due to remote location own transport is essential.You will be required on site once a month. Flexibility required.

Paying 350-400 a day. Working Inside IR35, Umbrella company.

Due to the urgency of the role, you will need to be SC cleared (or eligible to undertake SC Security Clearance). Role -

Undertake manual testing using Azure DevOps

Report and manage defects using Azure DevOps

Interpreting use cases and requirements and then create and maintain test cases in line with the IT Testing Process and the SDLC.

Analysing existing systems to ensure appropriate test coverage for a system upgrade.

Planning, Scripting and executing SIT and UAT

Continuously improve the QA process

Liaise with team members

Suggest updates and improvements to software solutions

Create and execute automated tests using Visual Studios and Reqnroll Skills -

Excellent communication skills

Experience with Azure DevOps

ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing

Knowledge of API's and integrations.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Working with Agile projects Desirable:
