Job Title: Senior AWS Platform Engineer (Must be SC cleared or eligible) Location: London, UK (Remote with monthly office visit) Salary: Up to £90,000 DOE + bonus + shares Why Apply? As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer, you'll act as a key technical expert, shaping scalable, secure cloud solutions for a variety of clients. Their focus is on platform engineering, DevOps, automation, and cloud-native delivery, creating foundations that balance developer velocity with security, resilience, and governance. Senior AWS Platform Engineer Responsibilities Architect and deliver scalable, highly available and secure cloud-native systems using AWS. Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistency and repeatability. Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation and continuous delivery. Support clients in deg and optimising cloud solutions tailored to their technical and business requirements. Contribute to project scoping, planning and delivery, taking ownership of smaller engagements. Ensure solutions align with best practices across performance, security and cost optimisation. Senior AWS Platform Engineer Requirements Strong hands-on experience with AWS across infrastructure, networking and cloud-native services. Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Experience working with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles and automated delivery practices. Ability to design secure, scalable and resilient cloud architectures. Strong communication skills with experience working directly with stakeholders or clients. Background in consultancy, platform engineering or cloud-focused roles is highly desirable.
