Senior Platform Architect A global financial markets infrastructure firm is hiring a Senior Platform Architect to help shape the evolution of a high-profile, business-critical platform. Paying up to 110k per annum plus bonus and benefits you will be based out of their City of London offices 3 days a week (two days remote). This role sits at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business engagement, playing a key role in moving a Legacy estate toward a modern, cloud-native platform. The Role Define and govern architecture across a globally distributed engineering function Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and fit-for-purpose Work closely with engineers to guide modern design and development practices Engage senior stakeholders across technology and business Translate complex technical decisions into clear, commercial outcomes Technology Environment Backend: TypeScript/C# Frontend: JavaScript/React Cloud: AWS (containers, serverless, broader ecosystem) What They're Looking For Strong platform/solution architecture experience in modern cloud environments Background building scalable, distributed systems Ability to operate at a senior stakeholder level Strong communication and influencing skills A modern engineering mindset (not tied to Legacy approaches) Why This Role Shape a next-generation platform, not maintain Legacy systems High visibility with direct impact on business growth and platform direction Environment investing heavily in modern engineering and cloud If you think you have the necessary skills and experience then please !
