AWS Cloud/Engineer - Security Group, EC2 AWS/Hybrid - Inside IR35

Cloud/Hosting Engineers are required by this enterprise client, undergoing significant cloud and infrastructure modernisation, to join their high-performing platform team. These roles sit at the heart of the organisation's hosting estate, supporting both on-prem VMware environments and AWS cloud services. You'll be working within a mature engineering function, contributing to BAU operations, platform improvements, and cloud-focused transformation initiatives. Administer and optimise AWS services, with a focus on EC2, EBS, and Security Groups Provide operational support for Windows Server platforms, including patching, performance tuning, and incident resolution Contribute to hosting platform improvements, automation, and standardisation Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams to ensure stable and secure hosting services You must be able to demonstrate experience across - Solid understanding of AWS, particularly EC2, EBS, IAM fundamentals, and Security Groups Strong hands-on experience with VMware, vSphere administration in enterprise environments Proven background in Windows Server administration Ability to troubleshoot complex hosting issues across hybrid platforms Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Desirable experience includes, Linux administration, VMWare NSX, automation tools and hybrid connectivity please note, these roles require time onsite, a minimum of two days per week - only apply if this is something you're comfortable with.
