Analytical Platform Developer – Prague (Full-time, hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced developer with a structured, analytical mindset to take ownership of our analytical platform, a system that underpins forecasting and analysis for our energy trading team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a data-intensive platform, applying solid engineering practices to ensure reliability, clarity, and maintainability. What You Will Be Responsible For: Develop new tools, deploy models, and orchestrate model pipelines Own the architecture, code quality, and evolution of the platform Improve and refactor existing codebase Build dashboards and reporting to present analysis results to traders and analysts Implement good development practices (testing, documentation, code review) Collaborate with the analyst team on new development initiatives Coordinate with data engineers and IT on infrastructure What We Need From You: Strong Python developer with experience working with data Structured, analytical thinking 4 years of relevant experience Education in quantitative/technical field Professional English proficiency Interest in business context and analytics Nive to Have: Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Grafana, Streamlit, Power BI) Experience with pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Dagster) Familiarity with cloud deployment and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience in an energy trading company The role can be possibly extended into data analysis and model development What We Offer in return: Meaningful work that directly influences trading decisions.
