Junior IT System Engineer

We are currently offering an interesting opportunity as Junior IT System Engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Aarau, Switzerland. Your responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud platforms. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and optimal operation. Implement security protocols, perform regular system updates (Cisco preferred) Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet strategic business objectives. Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for knowledge sharing and audit purposes. Your profile: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Skills in IT systems engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, and other network technologies. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Java, Python) is an advantage. Fist Experience in Database-Administration (PostgreSQL) Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Fluent in German and English We look forward to receiving your application!
