Join Unitrans to build a rewarding career that makes a difference. Key Responsibilities Manage workshop operations by monitoring KPIs, enforcing standards, and improving productivity. Oversee fleet maintenance, apply FMEA, optimise preventative schedules, and ensure high-quality repairs. Conduct audits and maintain full compliance with OEM, safety, environmental, and roadworthiness standards. Lead and develop technical teams while driving artisan training and continuous upskilling. Control budgets, reduce R&M costs, and manage spares procurement and major repair approvals. Support strategic fleet planning, reporting, systems implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Master's Degree / BSc Engineering (NQF 8). 4-8 years' workshop or fleet management experience. Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle systems. Proven leadership and understanding of safety, compliance, and transport legislation. Experience with Lean Maintenance, FMEA, and continuous improvement methods.
