PRINCIPAL HYDROGEOLOGIST I – D2 – Ministry Of Water And Human Settlement

To provide technical expertise, strategic guidance, and leadership to ensure effective management of groundwater resources. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement groundwater management plans, policies, and strategies. Conduct complex hydrogeological investigations, including but not limited to groundwater modelling and aquifer characterization. Provide technical expertise for water resources planning, development and management. Collaborate with stakeholders, including but not limited to government agencies, water users, and communities. Lead and mentor a team of hydrogeologist and support staff. Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and standards for groundwater management. Oversee groundwater data collection, management and analysis. Develop and implements strategies towards prudent financial resources. Undertakes any other related duties as may be assigned by Management. Requirements BSc in Geology, Geophysics, Hydrogeology Six (6) years in a water related field, of which two (2) years must have been served as Principal Hydrogeologist II - D3 or equivalent.
