Your new role

As IT GxP Specialist in Digital Operations, your primary role is to ensure the operation, compliance, and continuous improvement of our critical Access Control & Management IT system.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end delivery of IT and infrastructure operations initiatives - from planning to production

  • while playing a key role in ensuring system availability, performance, security, and compliance in line with GxP requirements.

Additionally, you’ll be working in close collaboration with a Product Owner and skilled technical specialists to ensure execution and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Driving operational tasks and yearly cycle (annual plan) deliveries from planning through execution, including stakeholder coordination and GxP-compliant documentation

  • Ensuring adherence to and follow-up on SOPs, SLAs and contractual obligations, effectively prioritising the backlog and ensure efficient handling of operational tasks and critical incidents

  • Communicating status, risks, and progress clearly, as well as preparing and presenting monthly operational reports

  • Facilitating collaboration between our System Management team in India and our team of SMEs as well as business stakeholders

  • Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvements to processes and ways of working

  • Monitoring service performance, incident trends, and operational risks, monitoring systems and perform performance tuning

  • Driving process standardization and strengthen data quality, along with owning and managing backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.

The role will be based in Bagsværd, Denmark and will report directly to the Senior Manager for Digital Operations.

Corporate Facilities enables Novo Nordisk to deliver products to millions of patients worldwide by providing stable, scalable, and sustainable infrastructure and facility solutions. We build on decade-long experience with providing facility services, and we have subject matter experts within our four organisational areas: Energy Solutions, Facilities & Workplace, Physical Security Operations, and Service Centers.

You will join the Digital Operations department within Physical Security Operations, a dynamic team driving critical IT operations and GxP-compliant processes. We work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact projects, ensure system reliability, and continuously improve processes in a fast-evolving environment.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a proactive specialist who thrives in an international, cross-functional team. You communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex technical issues and risks for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll also bring with you:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with experience from a regulated environment such as e.g. pharma, finance or the public sector

  • 3–5 years of GxP experience plus additional domain expertise

  • Experience in systems engineering, system administration, or IT infrastructure management.

  • Experience with SLA management, contract follow-up, and backlog prioritisation

  • Experience in monitoring performance, incident management, and disaster recovery

  • Experience administering and supporting mixed-platform environments (Windows Server and Linux) including virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

  • Familiarity with identity and access management (Active Directory/Azure AD, LDAP, SSO) and security best practices (firewalling, SIEM, encryption, patch management

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry or working with validated systems, with familiarity with frameworks such as GAMP5 and ITIL would be an advantage

  • Solid understanding of IT Compliance from a regulated environment.
