Senior Platform Engineer

The opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with a strong foundation in the.NET ecosystem and a modern approach to building robust, secure, and scalable platforms. You will join a responsible and collaborative platform team dedicated to giving our product teams the technical foundation and guidance they need to succeed.

As a member of the Platform Team, you will share responsibility for:

• Infrastructure & Architecture
• Deg, scaling, and maintaining backend architecture and DevOps pipelines.
• Security & Compliance
• Implementing secure and compliant systems (ISO, SOC 2, ).
• Core Capabilities
• Developing shared libraries, utilities, and architectural patterns used across all product teams.
• Guidance & Collaboration
• Driving best practice adoption and offering mentorship and technical leadership.
• Pair & Mob Programming
• Promoting collective code ownership and knowledge sharing through active collaboration.
• Test Automation & CI
• Building robust test suites and automated pipelines.
• Cross Functional Support
• Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Developers, and others to achieve shared goals.

How we work

In the Platform Team, we:

• Follow the principles of the Product Operating Model, empowering product teams to own the outcomes of the problems they solve. The Platform Team’s greatest responsibility is providing the foundation and guidance that enables them to succeed.
• Practice Clean Code principles and take pride in writing robust, maintainable code.
• Share knowledge through our Developer Chapter, aligning coding standards and engineering practices across teams.
• Work closely across locations, with developers in Aarhus, Bucharest, and other parts of Europe — making tight collaboration essential.
• Code primarily in C#.
• Operate with technologies such as CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, EF Core, Microsoft Orleans, IdentityServer, Serilog, xUnit, Blazor, and Angular, among others.

Your experience

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Strong experience with modern.NET backend development, distributed systems, secure data handling, and scalable infrastructure.
• In-depth experience with our technologies or similar stacks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• A learning mindset — experimenting with new tools, frameworks, and development methods comes naturally to you.
• A commitment to automated testing as an integral part of development.
• Pride in writing robust, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• A collaborative mindset, with experience in:
• Pair programming
• Code reviews
• Agile practices
