As our IT Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our tech landscape. This is a hands-on lead position where you’ll combine technical expertise with strategic oversight—managing core infrastructure, shared platforms, and cloud initiatives while defining and enforcing robust securitypolicies. The role oversees, optimizes and troubleshoots the IT environment across multiple international locations, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with business objectives, and is based at our HQ in Lyngby.

Tasks and responsibilities

Platform & Concept Management

Maintain a clear overview of IT platforms, systems, and concepts to ensure coherence and efficiency.

Helpdesk Oversight

Manage and monitor the outsourced Helpdesk function, ensuring high-quality support and timely issue resolution.

Operational Initiatives

Define and execute initiatives to improve IT operations, including automation, process optimization, and system upgrades.

Governance and security

Develop terms of reference for specialist tasks (e.g., cyber security) and guide external consultants to deliver according to specifications. Develop and enforce cyber security policies, and ensure the organization is adequately trained.

Infrastructure Management

Configure and establish servers as needed, ensuring reliability and security.

Cloud & SaaS Integration

Demonstrate strong technical understanding of cloud solutions and the interrelation between systems and SaaS services.

Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for

• Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure management
• Strong technical knowledge of server configuration and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems and integration strategies.
• Ability to manage outsourced vendors and consultants effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in global IT setup and multi-site operations.
• Beneficial certifications: ITIL Foundation or higher (for IT service management), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent cloud certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or similar), CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (for IT security governance).
