Product Owner
Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in OT SCADA systems within the renewable energy sector. The role involves leading functional activities for SCADA operations and development, ensuring secure and reliable integration across wind power assets.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Deep expertise in Windpower Level 1 SCADA systems (Siemens Gamesa and/or Vestas preferred), including integration with Level 2 SCADA, Fleet Management, and cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of OT environments, data exchange protocols (OPC UA, REST, MQTT, Apache Kafka), and OT–IT convergence.
- Proven experience in agile methodologies (Kanban, DevOps) and backlog management.
- Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Agile / Product Ownership (PSPO, CSPO, SAFe POPM)
- OT Cybersecurity (ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP)
- Vendor-specific SCADA training (Siemens Gamesa, Vestas)
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide hands-on functional leadership to the OT SCADA team, ensuring efficient execution of operational and development tasks.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, translating business needs into actionable deliverables.
- Manage and prioritize team backlog, balancing operational incidents, service requests, and strategic improvements.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of SCADA products, tools, and processes.
- Oversee integration and lifecycle management of SCADA systems, ensuring secure and reliable data flows between power plants, control systems, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NERC CIP).
- Support incident resolution and proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
