Senior Tech Programme Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Programme Manager to transform strategy into execution, drive alignment across senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple technology and business domains.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Align programme objectives with Danske Bank’s strategic goals and objectives
• Drive execution across multiple inter‑related programmes, projects and domains
• Ensure benefit realisation and clear, measurable outcomes
• Lead strategic, high‑impact programmes

Strengthen governance, performance, and control

• Establish programme governance frameworks and controls
• Monitor progress, performance, risks, financials and dependencies
• Implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with policies and standards

Secure resources and delivery capacity

• Manage and request resource allocation across teams
• Build cross‑topic expertise quickly to guide teams toward target outcomes
• When necessary, lead fully staffed major programmes end‑to‑end

Drive change and adoption

• Partner with Change professionals and end users to ensure complete adoption
• Facilitate the change management journey during programme execution

Communicate and engage senior leaders to gain their support and understanding

• Engage senior stakeholders and sponsors; escalate issues when needed
• Provide consolidated programme status, financials, and insights to leadership
• Present regularly to senior leaders and provide input for decision-making

The ideal candidate

You demonstrated success in leading large-scale, complex tech programmes in a complex environment. Meaning, deep understanding of modern technology (cloud, platforms, integrations, data, infrastructure)

You bring strong governance, benefits realisation, change management skills and advanced executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Furthermore;

• Ability to rapidly build domain expertise and provide cross‑topic guidance
• Ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity in ambiguity
• Recognised as a subject‑matter expert, with the ability to mentor, coach, and raise maturity across teams
