You ensure, alone and/or in close collaboration with the After-Sales and Tests teams, the development and updating of software and related documentation for our products both for internal and external customers.
Your role
Develop, improve and update control systems in collaboration with the Automation, After-Sales and Tests teams
Act as the main contact for the After-Sales service for troubleshooting and help customers with control command problems
Analyse customer problems reported by the After-Sales service and describe them in such a way as to facilitate their resolution by the Automation department
Calculate the costs associated with control systems when customers request system upgrades
Support commissioning engineers and technicians in resolving control encountered during maintenance or troubleshooting operations (on site or remotely)
Assist the Testing and R&D departments with customer testing in the event of specific Automation
Train the Services Department staff in Automation-related topics
Your profile
You have a degree in automation and have experience in an industrial environment (minimum 2 years)
You master programming languages for programmable control systems
You are familiar with Siemens software tools (TIA Portal, STEP 7)
You have knowledge of GAMP5 guidelines, as well as 21 CFR part 11 for electronic records & electronic signatures
You have good knowledge of English and French, German is a plus
You are willing to travel regularly (sometimes up to 40% of the time)
