Trust Administrator / Trust Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other fiduciary structures.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all client entities.
• Coordinate with clients and advisors to address inquiries and provide solutions.
• Prepare and review trust documentation, including deeds, resolutions, and agreements.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax filings in collaboration with external advisors.
• Monitor and manage deadlines for regulatory filings and other key deliverables.
• Support the team in identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and service offerings.

Qualifications

• STEP diploma, an advantage
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluent in English and French
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
