Description
Your Challenge
- Managing and developing relationships with distributors, OEM partners, and key end customers across Europe, acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor
- Actively acquiring and developing new distribution partners and strategic customers in the European market
- Supporting the implementation of SUHNER’s OEM strategy, with an initial focus on strengthening partnership with existing OEM platforms and their distribution networks
- Providing technical sales support to distributors and customers, including quotations, application discussions, and clarification of technical requirements
- Training and enabling distributor sales teams to build technical knowledge and increase their independence in promoting and selling SUHNER solutions
- Ensuring strong product visibility within the market by supporting showroom installations, open houses, exhibitions, and joint customer events with distributors and OEM partners
- Managing project quotations and supporting the entire sales process from opportunity identification to order closure
- Monitoring market developments and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions
Your Profile
- A technical background in mechanical engineering, machining, or manufacturing technology combined with commercial experience
- Proven experience in technical sales within the machining, cutting tools, or toolholder industry
- Experience working with machine tool manufacturers, distributors, or industrial end users in the metalworking sector
- Strong ability to explain technical solutions and support partners in developing application-based opportunities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English and German; additional languages such as Italian or French are an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office; experience with ERP systems (, SAP) is beneficial
- High level of independence, initiative, and willingness to travel internationally (50%-60%)
