For our Software Development team in Oetwil am See (canton Zurich), we are looking for a motivated

Software Developer with focus on AI

In this function, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform. We value a hands-on approach and a “get things done” mindset and the ability to work creatively and solve complex problems. As a Software Developer you interact with different internal stakeholders to design and implement high quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain AI pipelines, primarily focused on computer vision

Prototype, demonstrate and validate new AI-driven use cases to improve productivity and efficiency

Contribute to drone flight and mission software (Android / Kotlin)

Collaborate closely with software and operations teams

Provide technical support to drone pilots during field operations

Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment

About You

Hands-on experience in AI / Machine Learning using and PyTorch

High level of initiative and ownership: proactively bring own ideas, challenge existing approaches and continuously look for ways to improve solutions

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

Strong analytical thinking, debugging and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of geometry, spatial reasoning and geospatial data

Fluent in English, German is a plus

Experience in drone or robotics software development, mobile development in Android/Kotlin are an asset
