We are looking for an R&D Test and Process Engineer - Bushings (High Voltage)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and driven R&D Test and Process Engineer for Bushings with a specialized focus on high voltage (HV) testing and manufacturing process development.

This role is critical in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of high voltage energy systems through rigorous testing, data analysis, and continuous process optimization.

You will play a key role in bridging R&D and manufacturing, supporting the development of innovative energy technologies.

How You'll Make an Impact

High Voltage Testing

Lead and execute high voltage testing activities in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and internal standards

Design and implement test setups, selecting appropriate HV equipment and methodologies

Ensure safe operation of high voltage test environments

Data Analysis and Quality

Analyze test data and document results

Support root cause investigations and corrective actions

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing procedures

Process Engineering and Manufacturing Interface

Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to define test strategies and process requirements

Support prototyping activities

Assess manufacturing process feasibility

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Equipment and Compliance

Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of HV test equipment

Promote a strong safety culture

Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and company policies

Your Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in high voltage testing

Process engineering experience is an advantage

Strong knowledge of HV testing protocols, equipment, and safety practices

Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards

Proficiency in analyzing test data and conducting failure analyses

Fluent German and good English skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
