Working closely with its affiliate, the English law firm Howard Rosen Solicitors in Zug, Rosetrust is a boutique that specialises in setting up and running Swiss and foreign companies for its international clientele. It also manages a portfolio of commercial property companies (and their properties) outside of Switzerland. The company is looking for a motivated and reliable professional to work and grow with us as part of a small team. The work and the people are interesting and we are looking to find a professional and dynamic administrator with suitable experience. The office is run with state-of-the-art technology and the company's software is Windows based.

The successful candidate will be primarily performing administrative and accounting functions for the commercial property companies but will also be providing administrative support for other entities managed by Rosetrust. A more detailed description of the position we are looking to fill is set out below:

Property administration which includes:

supervising the review of leases, licences, deeds and other legal documentation

keeping track of dates and deadlines

supervising local managing agents, surveyors, solicitors and other service providers and liaising with any funding banks

reviewing insurance documents

preparing property information for the property companies’ minutes

keeping accurate and up-to-date property files

dealing with enquiries from various parties

Bookkeeping and accountancy support which includes:

issuing invoices to the tenants (rent, insurance premium, service charges, etc.)

reviewing and control of accounts payable and keep track of due dates

administering bank accounts, compiling documents for local accounting firm for monthly reports and quarterly VAT returns

supervising and supporting the local accountancy firm in the preparation of the financial statements of the property companies

issuing quarterly reports to any funding bank and other authorities as required

reviewing of tax returns prepared by the local tax advisers, checking tax assessments and invoices

liaising with tax, accounting and legal professionals

Administrative support which includes:

providing assistance to the trust department with the day-to-day administration of companies and other entities being administered by Rosetrust

providing administrative assistance to clients

co-ordinating and following up on specific tasks and projects

participating in internal meetings

dealing

with general organisational and administrative operations

Qualifications

Mother tongue English and fluent in German

Experience working in an international commercial environment, ideally for a fiduciary/trust company, bank or law firm

Some expertise in the area of managing commercial properties

Some experience in accounting and bookkeeping

General administration skills
