Join our dynamic legal team in Burgdorf. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on compliance, marketing, contract manufacturing and broader commercial legal matters.

Your main tasks

Advise on healthcare compliance matters, including interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), transparency requirements, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, and industry codes (e.g., MedTech Europe Code)

Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal compliance policies and procedures

Review and advise on marketing and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including medical device and advertising laws)

Deliver compliance training to business stakeholders

Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in the EU, UK, and Switzerland

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., distribution, supply, services, consultancy, NDAs CMO; service)

Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes and tools

Maintain and develop our contract templates to ensure up-to-date and efficient legal operations

Enjoy a varied legal environment, touching on multiple areas of law in a forward-thinking company

Your profile

Fully qualified lawyer with admission to the bar in an EU country or any common law country

3–5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in-house or in a law firm advising medical device or life sciences companies

Solid experience in healthcare compliance

Experience reviewing marketing and promotional materials in a regulated environment

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Business-oriented and pragmatic approach to legal advice

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

High ethical standards and stron sense of integrity

Fluent in English
