Laboratory Technician Paints & Coatings Job main responsibilities: Process prototype powder formulations using powder processing equipment Apply powder coating formulations to test substrates Conduct testing and summarize experimental results Complete projects within defined scope and timelines Collaborate with colleagues across the other laboratories Develop and maintain knowledge of formulation, application processes, and sample evaluation methods Follow all lab safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine lab upkeep support in Paint and Coatings laboratory Candidate profile requirements High school graduate or Post-high school education (college or technical school or vocational training). Previous experience in powder Coatings laboratory setting is preferred. Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and able to operate with minimum supervision. Must be able to work comfortably in a team environment and effectively on individual efforts. Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with email, MS Word and MS Excel. Must have the highest standards of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to perform hands-on laboratory work.
