Senior Legal Counsel M&A A leading global organisation is seeking a senior, qualified lawyer with significant M&A expertise to join its legal team in Lausanne. This is a key role supporting strategic investment activities at national, regional and global levels. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders including Investment, Finance, Tax, Communications, Investor Relations and Legal & Compliance. You will lead and support complex transactions from inception to closing, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective risk management. Senior Legal Counsel M&A Key responsibilities: Lead legal support on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate ventures and joint ventures Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate internal stakeholders Manage and direct external counsel Advise business leaders on legal risks and mitigation strategies Represent the organisation before relevant regulatory authorities where required Promote best practices and support implementation of policies and procedures Your profile: Qualified lawyer (Juris Doctor or equivalent) with an active licence to practise 10+ years' experience with strong expertise in M&A, gained in-house and/or in a major law firm Proven experience leading complex transactions and working across geographies Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, international environments The organisation offers an inclusive and collaborative culture, flexible working opportunities and comprehensive training programmes, within a fast moving business.
