Quality Assurance Engineer (limited contract from May 1st, 2026 to January 31st, 2027) Our company is further expanding by setting up a brand-new manufacturing site located in Nidau. Due to our company’s continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting a professional for the position as Quality Assurance Engineer 100% (Limited from May 1st, 2026 to January 31st, 2027) Job Description Perform supplier control and management activities Prepare and execute various studies and reports Support the risk management process and associated documentation applicable to STAAR Surgical AG Initiate and lead project teams on Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) projects Perform QMS continuous improvement activities Develop and monitor performance metrics for manufacturing activities Execute, plan and support Internal audits Support external audits (in the backroom and as SME/Auditee) Lead and complete various cross-departmental projects Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences At least four years of experience within a Quality Assurance Department. Experience in a Medical Devices and/or in a Pharmaceutical field is mandatory. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
