Senior Product Designer - Social

The Fishbrain Team has built and maintains the #1 fishing app in the US, designed for people who are passionate about fishing and outdoors. Our mission is to deliver an incredible experience that helps anglers achieve their fishing dreams, today and tomorrow.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join one of our core iOS product teams. This role is central to building Fishbrain's social experiences-the features that connect millions of anglers, inspire them to share their catches, and foster a passionate fishing community.

As our Senior Product Designer for Social, you'll own the end-to-end design process from discovery through high-fidelity designs. You'll be supported by our UX researcher and product managers as you shape how anglers connect, share, and engage with each other. This is a high-impact role where your design decisions directly influence how our community experiences Fishbrain.

What you'll be working on:

• Lead discovery work to understand user needs and identify opportunities for social features
• Deliver high-fidelity, production-ready designs for iOS following Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Design engaging social experiences including feeds, sharing flows, community interactions, and user profiles
• Collaborate closely with UX researcher to translate insights into design decisions
• Partner with product managers to align design solutions with business goals
• Work with engineers to ensure smooth implementation and attention to detail
• Run ideation workshops and design sprints to explore new social feature concepts
• Create prototypes to validate design concepts and communicate ideas
• Extend and contribute to our design system and component library in Figma

What we are fishing for:

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating social or community-focused design work
• Experience deg for iOS with deep understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines
• Strong skills in both discovery research methods and high-fidelity visual design
• Proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and hand-off
• Experience deg social features such as feeds, sharing, messaging, or community interactions
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work closely with researchers, PMs, and engineers
• Strong communication skills to articulate design rationale and present to stakeholders
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Academic degree in design, interaction design, UX, or related field
• Experience at social media companies or apps with strong social/community features
• Knowledge of fishing, outdoors, or lifestyle apps
• Experience with AI tools to enhance design workflow

Where you'll work We work in a hybrid setup, and all team members are expected to work from our Stockholm HQ, The Lighthouse, at least two days per week.
