Tax Consultant
Description
Responsibilities: Prepare and file tax returns, including PAYE, WHT, and VAT in compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory deadlines. Manage tax compliance processes by ensuring accurate documentation, remittances, and reconciliation with relevant tax authorities (FIRS & State IRS). Support and participate in tax audits (NRS & State), including preparing audit schedules, responding to queries, and liaising with tax officials. Provide tax advisory support to clients on compliance matters, tax planning, and risk mitigation strategies. Maintain proper tax records and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders Requirements: A minimum of a B.Sc/HND from a reputable institution, preferably from the accounting field. 1-3 years experience Experience in Tax Compliance(PAYE, WHT & VAT) and Tax Audit (NRS & State) Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills. Access to a regular power supply is relevant. Possession of relevant professional certifications is an added advantage Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 250,000 (Based on experience) Work Mode: Hybrid
