Description

Responsibilities: Responding to user inquiries and providing first- or second-line technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems (e.g., slow performance, software crashes, connectivity failures, or error messages). Installing, configuring, and updating computer hardware, software, drivers, and peripherals. Setting up new user accounts, workstations, and devices for employees (including onboarding support). Performing routine maintenance, system backups, and basic security tasks (e.g., antivirus updates, password resets, or identifying potential vulnerabilities). Documenting issues, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing systems or knowledge bases. Escalating complex problems to higher-level IT teams (e.g., network administrators or cyber-security specialists) when necessary Requirements : Minimum of an HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Google IT Support Professional Certificate, or similar. 1–3+ years in help desk, technical support, or desktop support roles Excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, time management, and ability to work under pressure. Strong knowledge of Windows (10/11) and macOS, basic Linux familiarity is a plus Hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals) Basic networking (Wi-Fi setup: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN basics Antivirus/malware basics and simple security practices
