IT Support Specialist

Description

Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support to employees or clients via phone, email, chat, or in person Install, configure, and maintain hardware (computers, printers, mobile devices) Troubleshoot software, network, and system issues Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords Maintain and update IT documentation and asset inventory Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff Support cybersecurity practices (antivirus, updates, data protection) Assist with system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery procedures Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in IT support or help desk roles Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routers, switches) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Remuneration: NGN 150,000
