Data Engineer - Azure Specialist

Role Description:

Mind Source is strengthening its Software Development team with a talented Data Engineer - Azure Specialist.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience with cloud platforms for data engineering, particularly Azure
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with Big Data tools such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Impala, Kafka Streams & Connect
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend)
• Understanding of distributed systems and data processing architectures
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Fluency in English

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms
• Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources
• Develop and implement data workflows using technologies such as Spark and Apache Beam
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Implement security measures, including access controls and data encryption
• Extract data from databases, file systems, and APIs
• Monitor system performance and optimize for scalability and high availability
