Buyer Planner

Role Purpose - Responsible for planning, procurement and management of assigned inventory materials. Assist and support Supply Chain Manager. Maintenance of good working vendor relationships and high standards of professionalism and ethics associated with same. Maintain a high level of service to our internal customers. Primary Responsibilities * Issue purchase orders to the supply base in line with actual needs. * Ensure best price is sought after and is reflected in the ERP system. * Ensuring the purchasing database is correct and reflects actual needs. * Manage the day to day scheduling of material from the supply base. * Issue forecasts on a timely basis in line with agreed frequency and format. * Manage the issuance of agreed reports and formats to suppliers in line with agreed schedules. * Manage the supply of information from the supply base in line with agreed time frames.Role Purpose - Responsible for planning, procurement and management of assigned inventory materials.
