Interim Warehouse Manager

Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a hands-on, crisis-resilient Interim Warehouse Manager for a critical operation in the Czech Republic. The operation is currently facing significant bottleneck challenges, and we need a leader who can immediately restore the flow of goods from the Central Warehouse to retail outlets to secure ongoing sales. You will hold full responsibility for the Central Warehouse (CW) and play a pivotal role in integrating warehousing, purchasing, and production. This role includes a mandate as Deputy Production Manager and reports to the Global Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Restore Outbound Flow. Immediately identify and eliminate bottlenecks to secure retail sales.

3PL & Commercial Operations. Manage third party projects and logistics partners with a focus on commercial efficiency and output.

Manual Workarounds. Own Dynamics AX & RFSmart, but possess the ability to run the warehouse manually when systems fail.

Production Integration. Ensure seamless material allocation and flow between the warehouse and production lines.

Requirements:

Solid Operative Background: Extensive experience as a Warehouse or Operations Manager, ideally from manufacturing industry or FMCG.

3PL Expertise. Deep commercial understanding of 3PL mechanics and service level management.

Decisive Leadership: A “boots-on-the-ground” leader who solves problems on the floor, not behind a desk.

System Proficiency: WMS knowledge and knowledge in Dynamics AX is required.

Languages: Fluency in English. Czech or Swedish is a strong merit.

Assignment details
