Unity Porting Developer
Description
ASI Games is a console-focused publishing and porting company working with PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. We specialize in adapting Unity-based games to consoles using a structured and scalable porting pipeline built on internal frameworks, templates, and platform expertise.
By joining us, you will work on real console projects across multiple titles, gaining hands-on experience with console SDK integration and platform-specific implementation within Unity. Engineers apply our internal technical templates for platform initialization, feature integration (such as achievements and trophies), and compliance-ready project setup.
The primary purpose of this role is to port and adapt Unity-based games to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms using ASI Games’ internal porting frameworks, SDK access, and technical guidelines, ensuring platform compliance, stability, and readiness for QA and certification.
This role directly supports ASI Games’ publishing and porting operations by enabling scalable, repeatable console ports across multiple titles.
Port Unity projects to PlayStation (PS4 / PS5) and Nintendo Switch platforms
Integrate games using Sony and Nintendo SDKs under company-provided access
Apply ASI Games internal porting templates and technical frameworks, including:
Adapt existing game code to console requirements, including:
Ensure builds are stable, compliant, and ready for QA
Prepare and deliver console builds to the Testing Department for devkit-based testing
Fix issues identified during internal QA and platform testing
Follow internal documentation and contribute improvements to porting templates and guidelines when needed
Collaborate with producers, QA, and certification teams to support release readiness
Converting PC / mobile Unity projects into console-ready builds
Refactoring legacy Unity projects when required (engine upgrades, plugin replacements)
Implementing standardized console initialization and feature flows
Resolving platform-specific bugs and performance issues
Supporting multiple projects in parallel using a standardized porting pipeline
Successful console builds delivered to Testing Department
Build stability rate (number of critical issues per build)
