Who we are — since 2021Octo Games is a Netherlands-registered, fully remote studio buildingPC/Steamtitles. We unite10+ indie teams, grew from 20 people (2023) to125+(2025), and have shipped150+ projectsacross genres with a core focus onAdult (18+) visual novels.

• Deg and implementing reliable, scalable, and modular architecture for new and existing game projects.
• Selecting optimal technologies, tools, and pipelines (Unity/Unreal, server solutions, databases).
• Conducting code reviews and establishing high standards for code quality, performance, and testing.
• Organizing hierarchy and processes within development teams (role distribution, module ownership).
• Mentoring and coaching developers, helping them develop their technical skills.
• Improving the overall level and efficiency of development (implementing new tools, optimizing CI/CD).
• Working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and estimates
3+ years of experience managing a development team (Development Team Lead)
• Experience launching and supporting game projects (preferably PC and/or console).
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience working with Unity3D as the primary development platform.
• Experience with Unreal Engine (knowledge of architecture, pipelines) will be a big advantage or a mandatory requirement, depending on the project.
• Understanding of Fair Play and security principles in online games.
• Experience in deg and developing high-load, scalable systems and server logic for games.
Paid probation/project: 2 monthswith clear goals and support.
Location: remote team; legal presence inCyprusand theNetherlands.
Work on PC/Steam titles; some projects may include18+ content(we flag this in advance).
