Technical Artist (Unity/Mobile games)

Description

We are a small mobile game studio with a live Unity product and a team of around 25 people worldwide,

with a core team in Israel and distributed team members across Europe, Asia, and North America.

ImplementUI, 2D/3D assets, animations, and VFXin Unity

Set up and maintainmaterials, shaders, particles, animations, prefabs, and asset import settings

Optimizeshaders, textures, VFX, and atlasesfor mobile performance

Ensure visuals areconsistent, production-ready and compatible with existing UI

Build and maintain a clearart/Unity pipelinefor a live mobile game, including:

Support artists technically, reduce frontend developer workload, and collaborate with art and devteams to resolve visual and technical issues

4+ years ofhands-on experience working as aTechnical Artistin Unity, including building or

improving art pipelines in Unity-based games; preferably in startup or live-product environments

Strong understanding ofURP, real-time rendering, and mobile performance

Practical experience withuGUI,Shader Graph, VFX Graph, and Unity animation systems

Experience in implementing and optimizing game assets, including:

Able to turnanimatics and static design mocks or storyboardsinto clean in-engine results

A good mix ofvisual senseandtechnical problem-solving

Organized, pragmatic, and able to work within existing dev practices

Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Sheets, Docs and Slack/Discord

Comfortable usingAI tools(e.g. ChatGPT) as part of daily workflow
