Black and White is an indie game studio building PC projects with a strong focus on visual style, iteration speed, and modern production tools. We value outcomes over “hours spent” and keep meetings to the minimum.
Set up and maintainrendering pipelines(Unity URP/HDRP )
Create and tunematerialsfor a wide range of game assets
Work withpost-processingto achieve the target visual style
Optimize assets and scenes formaximum real-time performance
Find the besttechnical solutions for art goals(quality vs performance trade-offs)
Maintainvisual consistencyacross the project (lighting, materials, PP, style rules)
Rapid3D prototyping & processing, mixing classic tools with neural workflows
Integrate and operationalizeAI toolsin the production pipeline (Flux, Tripo, Stable Diffusion)
Collaborate closely with programmers, 3D artists, and animators
Experience withUnity(URP/HDRP) orUnreal Engine(Deferred Renderer, Lumen)
Solid understanding of thegame art pipeline(high-poly → low-poly → texturing → engine)
Strong skills inmaterials/shaders setupinside engines
Understanding ofrendering principlesand shader basics
