Game Designer
Description
Adapt mobile games for PC and Steam in close collaboration with leadership, programmers, artists, UI/UX, publishing, and marketing teams.
Analyze mobile titles and assess their potential for the PC market.
Design gameplay adaptations for keyboard and mouse controls.
Rework progression, balance, and UX to meet the expectations of a PC audience.
Define what to keep, improve, redesign, or remove from the original mobile experience.
Design and implement new features tailored to each game — from iterative improvements to building systems from scratch when needed.
Create and refine meta-systems such as leaderboards, challenges, customization, events, economy, and other retention-driven mechanics.
Partner with engineers on feature implementation and support production throughout development.
Collaborate with UI and visual artists to ensure a polished, platform-appropriate presentation.
Participate in playtests, collect feedback, and drive iterative improvements.
Support the long-term development of games as live products with growth and update potential.

Experience as a Game Designer or Producer (both is a strong advantage).
Strong understanding of gameplay loops, progression systems, and player motivation.
Solid judgment and product taste when adapting games across platforms.
Ability to communicate effectively with developers and artists.
Strong soft skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
You are not dismissive of mobile games or the idea of bringing them to Steam.
You are familiar with mobile titles that successfully transitioned to Steam.
You see mobile games as a foundation to build upon — not as a limitation.
