Mechanical Engineer - Petrol Chainsaws

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a global company in Huskvarna. Start is in February, 5 months limited contract to begin with.

Assignment Description Mechanical design work/tasks across product life cycle for Petrol chainsaws.

Tasks

• Develop and maintenance of parts and subsystems according to Requirements, Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines.
• Detailed component design, 3D CATIA (CAD-system) according HVA methodology
• Take active role in validation of parts/concepts EP-series, prototypes and design samples.
• Ensure DFM/DFA/DFAA
• Verification of design by simulation: Moldex, FEA, & Tolerance analysis - Establish geometric specification (drawings) Including updates after Internal and External Drawing Reviews. ECR/ECO handling for assigned components/subsystems
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders.
• Keep Lead Engineer, Platform Owner and Line Manager updated with status of work.
• Documentation according to process described in their system.

Required skills

• Good knowledge in CAD and PLM system: Catia V5 & SmarTeam or Team center
• High experience of Product development & Mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge in Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Good knowledge in root cause analysis
• Open-minded and searching for collaboration and knowledge.

This role requires fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

This is a full-time consultant position in Huskvarna through Incluso. Start is in February, 5 months limited contract to begin with, with possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Huskvarna.
