We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a critical position focused on developing and executing effective digital acquisition strategies within a fast-paced, data-centric environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving customer growth for one of the UK’s leading online gaming platforms.
What Will You Do?
- Design comprehensive digital acquisition strategies aligned with overarching business goals and brand positioning.
- Evaluate market opportunities and target audience profiles to identify optimal channels and campaign approaches.
- Collaborate strategically with senior management to establish ambitious acquisition targets and translate them into actionable, data-informed marketing plans.
- Plan, launch, and manage multi-channel acquisition campaigns across diverse platforms including paid search, paid social media, display advertising, video, affiliate networks, programmatic solutions, and more.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of complex campaigns, from creative concept briefing and meticulous media planning to seamless asset delivery and thorough post-campaign analysis.
- Implement data-driven performance optimisation through continuous monitoring, real-time adjustments, and rigorous testing (including A/B and multivariate tests) on various campaign components like landing pages, creatives, and calls-to-action.
- Analyze performance data systematically, utilizing advanced analytics tools to uncover trends, measure effectiveness accurately via appropriate attribution models, and optimize acquisition funnels for maximum efficiency.
- Allocate budgets with precision, across multiple channels and campaigns, ensuring every pound maximizes return on investment (ROI) while adhering strictly to financial constraints.
- Conduct regular market forecasting, comprehensive reporting, scenario planning, and trend analysis to provide actionable intelligence and strategic insights for stakeholders and leadership.
- Negotiate effectively with media vendors and external digital partners to secure the best value and performance outcomes for acquisition activities.
- Develop sophisticated dashboards and detailed performance reports for key stakeholders, consistently tracking critical metrics such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Lifetime Value (LTV), conversion rates, and channel profitability.
- Leverage data analysis to identify market trends, inform audience segmentation strategies, refine targeting parameters, and continuously improve acquisition tactics based on learnings.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including creative services, product development, CRM specialists, and brand managers to craft compelling marketing offers and ensure consistent messaging aligned with the acquisition funnel’s requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for coordinating projects and campaigns with external agencies and technology vendors, delivering clear briefs, managing relationships effectively, and ensuring alignment towards common objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale digital acquisition campaigns across multiple channels.
- Demonstrable expertise in digital analytics, including a deep understanding of attribution models relevant to customer acquisition.
- Proficiency with leading campaign management platforms like Google Ads (formerly AdWords) and Meta Ads Manager, as well as experience with other demand-side platforms such as DoubleVerify/DV360 or equivalent tools.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets effectively, identifying actionable patterns that inform strategic decisions for optimizing acquisition funnels.
- Strong command of various digital acquisition channels including PPC (Search & Display), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), paid social media advertising, affiliate marketing programs, display banner networks, retargeting campaigns, and programmatic advertising infrastructure.
- Comfortable operating within data-centric ecosystems; familiarity with analytics platforms like Google
