Position: Bilingual Italian STEM Expert *Type:Contract Compensation:$38–$43/hour* **Location:**Remote **Duration:**3–6 months **Commitment:**20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in Italian and/or English with scientifically accurate instructions.
• Define and document evaluation standards for STEM contexts with comprehensive rubrics.
• Conduct model testing and grading to assess outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance to ensure consistency in Italian-language benchmarks.
• Collaborate in QA review processes to maintain scientific standards and reliability.

Qualifications Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in Italian (written), specifically native to Italy or Italian-speaking Switzerland.
• Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
• BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology, physics, or chemistry topics.
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or an applied STEM discipline.
• Experience working with Italian or Swiss secondary/university STEM curricula.
