Trauma Registrar
Description
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Trauma Registrar and collect/abstract state and national trauma data bank elements into the Trauma Registry database. Maintain confidentiality of the registry data and provide registry data as appropriate for research.
Requirements
- Participate in and pass the AAAM's Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) course within 1 year of hire
- Participate in a trauma registry course that includes abstraction, data management, reports/report analysis, data validation, and HIPAA within 1 year of hire
- Participate in an ICD-10 course or an ICD-10 refresher course every five years
