Supply Chain Planner

Description

The Supply Chain Planner is a key member of the Supply Chain Planning team responsible for day-to-day planning activities for assigned ASP product codes. The role supports S&OP, manages inventory parameters, and partners with external teams to maintain service levels. This is a position with a global scope and the SC planner will be responsible for a set of suppliers mainly in UK, US and Asia.

Under limited supervision, general direction and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Supports the S&OP process by aligning demand/supply inputs and collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Planning Parameters: Maintains reorder point parameters in Intuiflow within the ASP network; ensures data accuracy and integrity.
  • Key Metrics: Monitors operational KPIs such as customer service, inventory, and backorders; reports performance to stakeholders.
  • Scenario Planning: Performs standard analyses to support decisions; escalates complex issues for higher-level review.
  • New Product Introduction & Lifecycle: Participates in assigned steps of new product launches and portfolio optimization activities.
  • Inventory Management: Tracks and reconciles inventory; identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Allocation Policy: Provides input into allocation decisions by analyzing demand, supply, and historical trends.
  • Process Improvements: Recommends process/system improvements and supports implementation under direction.
  • Supplier & External Interaction: Interacts tactically with suppliers regarding purchase orders, deliveries, and supply constraints.
  • Mentorship & Expertise: Learns and develops expertise; may provide informal support to junior colleagues.
  • Escalation Point: Escalates unresolved issues to Sr. SC Manager.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with company regulations, policies, and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–5 years supply chain/operations experience.
  • Familiarity with demand, supply, and inventory planning.
  • APICS/CPIM certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Excel, SQL or BI tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
