This role reports to VP of Tech and operates as an individual contributor.

• Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs and integrations that support internal systems and third-party platforms

• Partner effectively with engineering, data, and product teams while influencing architecture, standards, and delivery practices

What You’ve Done Before:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years building scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Proven experience contributing to or leading platform modernization or migration initiatives
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (preferably Azure)
• Experience deg and operating production-grade REST APIs
• Background in regulated industries such as FinTech, Banking, or Healthcare is a plus

Tools and Expertise You’ll Bring:

• Advanced Python (service development, testing, packaging, maintainable design)
• Databricks, Spark, and data platform ecosystems (required)
• REST API design, authentication, versioning, and error handling best practices
• Frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, API management)
• CI/CD pipelines, version control, and tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• DevOps fundamentals including deployment pipelines and secrets management
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing
• Nice-to-have: Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks, Streamlit, Terraform/Bicep, AI-enabled application patterns, and familiarity with.NET/C#

Step 3: Role-Specific Assessment or Panel Interview (1 hour) Depending on the role, this may include a take-home assignment, technical interview, or live case study with team members.

Step 4: Final Interview or Leadership Chat (1 hour) A final conversation with senior leadership or cross-functional team members to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

Step 5: Offer & Background Check

If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll move forward with background check and present a competitive offer.
