About the Assignment We are supporting our client in the industrial services and construction sector in finding a Senior Interim Legal Counsel to cover an upcoming parental leave across the Nordic region. This assignment is ideal for an experienced consultant who enjoys working independently in a commercial, technical and project‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Provide practical legal support to Nordic operations within construction, engineering and industrial services. Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and construction‑related contracts (incl. EPC‑related agreements). Advise on risk, project documentation, claims, variations and delays. Support tender processes and contract strategy. Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with Nordic legislation and internal governance. Collaborate with stakeholders in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Operate as a trusted, pragmatic legal partner to operational and commercial teams.

Required Experience

  • Qualified lawyer (LL.M / Jur. Kand or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as in‑house legal counsel or from a law firm supporting: Construction Engineering Industrial Services' EPC projects Energy & infrastructure (advantage)

Strong expertise in commercial contract law, including:

Contractor agreements Supplier/subcontractor agreements Project documentation Contract risk assessments Proven ability to work independently within project‑driven environments. Languages: Fluent Swedish or Norwegian and Professional-level English (written and verbal).

Working Setup Start: June 2026 (12‑month assignment) Duration: 12 months (parental leave cover) Workload: 3–5 days per week Location: Gothenburg or Stavanger (preferred), hybrid /Nordic remote possible Travel: Occasional Nordic travel may occur
