DevOps Engineer (Software-Focused) C++ / Python / DevOps

Overview: We are seeking a technically skilled DevOps Engineer with a focus on software development for our client. Unlike traditional DevOps roles, the emphasis here is clearly on technical implementation and development, rather than project management. This role is ideally suited for candidates who combine software development skills (C++, Python) with solid experience in automation, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure. Responsibilities: Setting up, developing, and operating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) Close collaboration with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development process Development and maintenance of automation scripts in Python Support and further development of C++ applications under Windows (Visual Studio) Setting up and operating container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Ansible and Terraform Implementing and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Grafana) Ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of the systems Must-Have Requirements: Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong development focus Solid knowledge of C++ under Windows (Visual Studio) Very good Python skills Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana Nice-to-Have: Experience in the area of IT security, e.g.: SBOM (Software Bill of Materials), vulnerability scanning, vulnerability management; experience with Linux systems in addition to Windows
