IAM & Platform Security Engineer (m/f/d) Terraform Know-How Remote at least 2 days/week

For our client in Dortmund, we are seeking an IAM & Platform Security Engineer (m/f/d) starting April 13, 2026, for an expected duration of 3 months with the option to extend. A minimum workload of 2 days per week is required. The project can be carried out remotely. The team will meet every 3 months in Dortmund for a workshop. Your responsibilities: - Further development and operation of our IAM landscape based on Okta and ConductorOne - Modeling complex role and tenant structures via Terraform - Implementation and integration of OIDC into AWS services and Kubernetes workloads - Conceptual development of the future target IAM architecture - Ensuring the scalability and stability of our identity systems - Securing internal service communication - Operation and further development of OIDC-based proxy and token validation mechanisms - Working on Kubernetes gateway and NGINX-based traffic structures - Future development or replacement of individual self-developed components - Parts of our security components are implemented in Go

• experience with or interest in Go is therefore welcome. Your requirements: - Several years of experience in IAM / Cloud Security - OIDC & token-based authentication mechanisms - Role and permission models - Kubernetes network security - Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code) - Experience with SaaS-based identity solutions (e.g., Okta) is an advantage - Technical architectural understanding and a desire for ownership - Very good German skills (at least C1 level)
