Project Manager (m/f/d) with experience in human genetics

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) with experience in human genetics, starting mid-April. Responsibilities include: - Leading and providing operational support for a cross-border project to implement and/or further develop a genetics laboratory information system for sites in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium - Structured gathering and prioritization of requirements from departments and laboratories - Design and optimization of laboratory and sample flow processes - Close coordination with IT, specialists, and laboratory management - Supporting implementation through to operational readiness. Skills: Project management in a life sciences/diagnostics environment (traditional & agile) Hands-on requirements engineering (elicitation, specification, reviews) In-depth domain knowledge in genetics, diagnostics, and life sciences Several years of experience with laboratories, laboratory processes, and laboratory information systems (LIMS) Process analysis, modeling, and optimization (BPMN, workflow modeling) Quality and change management in regulated environments Experience working in federated, multi-site organizational structures Remote collaboration with Interdisciplinary, internationally distributed teams; technical understanding of databases and interfaces (SQL, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, XML, Python) for ad-hoc analyses; very good English skills; project duration: end of 2026.
