Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the IT governance framework in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory standards. Lead risk management initiatives related to IT systems, ensuring identification, assessment, and mitigation of IT risks. Establish and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance, risk, and compliance processes within IT operations. Conduct regular audits and reviews of IT processes to ensure adherence to governance standards and identify areas for improvement. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to IT staff on governance principles and compliance requirements. Serve as a liaison between IT, senior management, and regulatory bodies to facilitate clear communication and reporting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Proven experience of at least 7 years in IT governance, risk management, or compliance, preferably within the banking sector. In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, and relevant banking regulations. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to implement effective IT security controls.
